I would like to think so. Nonetheless i think it would be prudent to remove from webpage. Dont want the uneducated to think this is acceptable.  As well as similar photos on his Facebook 6

I have no idea who this is or what webpage you are referring to. I gather from your comment that this is someone of influence in the fishing community?

Pretty sure that's Fred Helmer from Fred's tackle on the right.

Ah ok, now I understand the context and the point you are trying to make.

Yup
What was his reply when you contacted him about it?

Looks like two guys very happy that they caught a nice fish.
Fish handling is spot on with the weight of the fish being supported.
Probably supported by a cradle and then lifted for a quick pic.
Yes thats Fred Jr. and assume a happy client.

If there is a problem, bring it to the owner of the content. What's the point of publicizing it here? Shaming? Hoping others would do the leg work for you to deliver the message to Fred? I don't even know the origin of that URL, where that photo is hosted, Facebook, website? Both Fred and Wayne spend more personal time than 99% of the anglers on Fraser River sturgeon conservation, so get in touch with them and I'm sure they'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Because Fred and Wayne spend 99% more time on conservation than the average angler does this make them beyond reproach? On the contrary!  If anything they should be held to a higher standard.  Seeing this photo on Freds website shocked the hell out of me especially seeing a bloody glove in the gill plate.
Shaming? You're  damn right! They should be ashamed!
I expected Rodney to chime in as Fred is a major contributor to this site, and yes Rodney i am using your forum to do my leg work for me as you put it.   Such is the nature of social media from which you are making a comfortable living.  Kudos to you Rod for not removing post.
I have seen multiple times in this forum people being shamed for poor etiquette or fish handling.  Yet a photo surfaces where a pillar of the angling community appears to be contradicting the practices he is advocating and people get their panties in a knot.  Sounds like a double standard to me!
And BTW you will never shut me up if i have something to say.
I am chastisded for calling a spade a spade? Shaming on this forum? Heaven forbid.

Glove in the gill plate, no. Near the gill plate, yes. Blood on the glove ? looks like roe to me ?

If I wanted to shut you or anyone else up, I'd just delete the thread.

But I don't have a problem with telling you that your approach is wrong. If there is a problem with a photo that a business has posted, take it to the business. Fred is never on the internet checking for stuff that he is being called out for, so even now he is most likely unaware of your "concerns".

I don't know where that photo is hosted, that's why I asked before. Is it on Facebook, the store's website, Instagram? I have no idea what sitebooster is. If I know, I'd probably call him right now and talk about it. So yeah, I don't see the point of shaming someone who is in the public eye on the internet when there isn't a immediate solution to your problem. Take it to the owner, or are you too proud to do that?

My thought was that you were chastised for being a whiny little pussy for coming on the forum and accusing someone of bad practices instead of acting like a man and approaching the subject of your attack. Try acting like an adult and go to the source of your complaint instead of hiding behind a keyboard and getting others to do what you don't have the balls to do.
Sorry, I came to my senses and edited my response.
