Glad you got some footage at the one lake we ran into you, the video turned out pretty decent.

Well you know what would have made this video better... Is to have that whopper at the end of your line on ours lol... ;D

go fish BC 101, how to enhance the loon population lol They have done a wonderful job with our Lakes tho. Fishing in lakes is way better now then I ever remember it being as a kid.

My favorite part was at about 6:45 and the wake from the Loon enters from the right. It was sort of obvious what was about to happen. I love to see Loons and don't begrudge them their fish. My experience is if you can land the fish and keep it in the net and in the water for a few minutes the Loon will depart. Failing that the fish can always be killed if it's within the regs.
Great video...now just to figure out which lake it is!

Hahahaha true indeed, that's why I was suggesting to go where we were headed back to or the other spot I mentioned. I'll have to send you my map ;)

Nothing better than having a loon refuse your fish because it's too big.
Great video nonetheless.

That loon never caught the fish actually, but a few weeks earlier it did catch one of the others I released there...
