fishing was very slow at seabird island this morning. I started at 7am till 11am and only managed one sockeye. I would estimate 10 sox caught in that time frame (probably 60 guys fishing).
My uncle managed to hook two spring and landed the second one. Definately a gap from the commercial opening.
I am hoping Saturday evening or Sunday morning will pick up.

seabird is just passed aggasiz on highway 7. After you pass by the aggasiz junction keep on the highway. You will pass by the Seabird Island cafe on your left. At the end of the long straight stretch you will see all the cars parked. Cross the tracks and head towards the river (stay to the left and you will get to the bar).

Just to differentiate, Funfish is different from Funfisher. I guess we both like the fun of fishing, hehe!
To fish Seabird on dry ground, you go to the bottom part of the bar by turning right at the river. This is where most people go. Others fishing at the top end usually stand in the water waist deep in waders.
