Title: Fish ID
Post by: bigsnag on April 01, 2019, 04:02:15 PM
Low tide this morning @ the Fraser river mouth, I found a bunch of this little fishy stranded among the marshes.  Does anyone know what they are?

They sure taste great after I put them through the toaster oven:

The ones in the net looks like smolts. The ones on the plate looks like anchovies.

So you netted and ate fish that you didn't ID?

I hope you enjoyed then as much as the fine.

Super close to getting me there! The dinner plate gave it away to me (didn't look quite right). Then I remembered the date. Great one  :D
