Walking along the Squamish n Cheak last year and you could see thousands of Chum...doubt the 1 retention ever hurt the fishery as I dont know many who would keep them. Our entire approach regarding fish stocks of all species is completely backwards lol

I spent 4 hrs on the Squamish last friday and saw only one old chum in the shallow.

Seen approx. 10 -15 chum when I was at the Check last Friday . 1 bounced off my leg while wading out in the river . Water was colored up quite a bit and so were the chum . And yes there were a lot less than most other years . 100 times less .
