Title: hard core - home made Tee-spoons
Post by: Morty on November 13, 2017, 05:24:40 PM
My grandfather and uncle were both fairly skilled machinists and work-around tool makers.  They made this jig for stamping out Tee-spoon blades.  I haven't used it and think it should move on to someone who's as keen on making their own hardware as those who tie their own flies and catch with them.

The big punch stamps out the blade
The middle sized one puts in the contour
the small one pops in the hole for attaching the shackle

A couple of originals  (I know I know... treble hooks with barbs - those were allowed on the Vedder and other streams back in the day)
