Title: Ambleside launch ramp meeting tonight

Short notice I know, but I just got the notice.

Public Boat Launch Hearing
There is a West Van Council Public Hearing for Ambleside's development this Monday, July 24, 6pm at the West Van Municipal Hall Council Chambers. Among topics: building a launch ramp to replace the closed 14th St. pier ramp. We're hoping as many North Shore boaters as possible will show up to show/voice their support; currently there is no publicly accessible ramp from Horseshoe Bay (which has only 5 stalls) to Cates Park in Deep Cove. Shoot, I just read this notice now and missed it!

For any that were there, how did the meeting go? Were there any encouraging takeaways? Thanks in advance.
