Save on does. That might increase cost per fish though.

Not much cheaper when considering you can car pool in a fuel efficient car :).
Also not as much fun.

Agreed fishing is fun but not unlikely for a yaris packed with 4-5 anglers will get skunked this year on this pink return so far. Sure youll never know unless you go but still a lot of other fisheries if youre in it for the experience.. Not telling anyone what to do, just sharing an idea. Im guilty too, been up howe sound twice this year testing my luck and have learned this run isn't exceeding any expectations. Looks like DFO has decided to let mother nature try to recover some with he new restrictions.. I likely wont go again for a couple weeks unless it turns on over night.

Put a Gary Loomis sticker on that Yaris and should increase fish catching abilities 10 fold.

A Gamakatsu sticker would also make the car go faster!

Man, that's an ugly hat! Barf! (J.m.o.)
I guess I've been lucky. I hear a lot of people saying nothing but skunked, but ive already played a couple handfuls of fish, had a few Pink BBQ's, and still have several chrome filets vacuum sealed in the freezer. Glad I went early, who knows? - maybe they'll shut down the entire Squamish next?

I caught a couple on Saturday at the Mam.  The first was at about 8 am when I stopped on my way up to Mt Currie to teach an archery camp for some youth up there.  Since I had no way to store it, I had to let it go.  The second was caught on my way home at about 8pm.  Each stop was for about an hour. Both were caught on my old standby , a pink and white Clouser Minnow.
