After no luck on the Fraser yesterday, I opted for the Vedder today.
Late start, got up there around 1pm. Hooked 12 to 15 Sockeye, all in prime shape, and still are as I gently released them.
I caught a Dark Spring of around 15lbs, then was rewarded with a really nice 17lber at around 4:30pm.
Water is down, and clear. I fished the upper portion of the river. Guys came and went, so pressure was light. Not many cars along the road at all. Guess everyone is fishing the Fraser.
So I'll be eating BBQed Red Spring for dinner tomorrow. ;DMMMMmmmmmmmmmm

Fished the vedder again today with roeman and his friend. We were fishing mid river same spot as last time and once again there was nobody there. We hooked 7 fish in total and one of them was a nice 15 inch white fish caught buy roe man and released. But no springs once again ??? All socks were in prime condition. caught them on pink and lime green wool.
