At 13 seconds of actual video, that is not much of a trailer.. :o
-
Ya I thought about that after I posted it up. It should be a "sneak peek"... ;D
-
We do get to see a bit of hair that could be female... ;D

Here you'll see more hair. Full version:

Some really nice hook sets there. Two seven footers in one day doesn't happen very often.
Not sure what that camo reel is, but it's junk.
-
Two 8 footers actually. ;) 240cm and 234cm. We had a 7 footer, a couple of 6s and some smaller ones.

Only if you round up (and I don't).

240cm IS an 8 footer! :D
234cm clearly had a blunt nose, lost 6cm after rubbing the rocks too much. 8)

Or.. it's 7'10.5". Sooooo close.
Certainly some very nice fish and a fun video.
Nicely done.

Just want to say a few things. This is the last long video feature we are putting out this year. It was a lot of fun to do and I had the privilege of working with a very positive group of friends and colleagues, otherwise you wouldn't be able to see content like this being produced. This is the 16th year for Fishing with Rod... and things have evolved. We've shifted from the website content to YouTube videos in the past several years, the transition has been challenging but it has been a very wonderful experience regardless. With Kitty now a permanent member on my production team, I can promise you that next year you are going to see even higher quality content being pumped out. We want to bring a positive energy into this community, make fishing less intimidating for anyone who has never tried it but wants to. The goal of these videos is not to show you how good we are at fishing (because we're not), but to show everyone that you can also have the same experience, from catching fish to untangling lines.
Thanks for the support throughout 2016!

Well done video Rod.
The shots, picture and sound quality are very good. You've come a long way when it comes to presenting a quality video. Keep it up.
We were above you guys on the Stave that day on the west shore. Left about 10 mins after you for Sturgeon. We went down instead of up.
Had a great day with a 7'4" being our biggest that trip. Not the quality of size you guys had but another great day on the water fighting these magnificent fish.
