Title: Fishing in the Domincan Republic?

My wife and I are taking a trip to the Dominican Republic (specifically Cayo Levantado, province of Samana) and I am interested in doing some self guided beach fishing.

Has anyone had any experience fishing in the area?

I'm interested to chat about line test, wire leaders, spoons, plugs... you know, everything!
