Hello Vancouver Island forum members.

We are heading to the Island next week. It's 4 nights in Tofino, then 4 nights in Campbell River.

How is the Campbell / Quinsam for Pinks right now? I have 2 excited boys (6 & 8) who want to catch fish.

Lotsa Pinks in the river and from the beaches-some Coho too.

Have you thought about trying for Surf Perch around Tofino?

It's not rocket science and I'm sure the local tackle shop (http://www.tofinofishing.com/jaysflytackleshop/) could give you some info.

More coho than Ambleside I hope. I am also on my way there next week.
