any word on road conditions?
-
We were up there today. The road was in reasonably good shape. Lake level is very low.

thanks rod. were the fish biting?
-
It took some work to find them but they were biting pretty well once we did. :)

bud of mine was there on weekends , he showed me couple pictures of nice cutties

i hate towing my boat up there. i wonder how the shore fishing would be?
-
You won't be able to launch a trailered boat in there right now. It was a messy job getting the car topper in there.
Shore fishing is tough at most spots because it's so shallow, but there are a couple of spots that's doable and were producing on and off while we were there.

thanks. i'll giver a go.

Saw a big truck pulling an Echo full of girls up the big hill at the bottom today!
Lots of work on the lower part of the road so it is loose.
Mid section is good - lots of potholes on the top part.
Don't bother with the north campsite and take gumboots...
