Title: 4 fishing rods for sale: Fenwick and Hardy - all sold, please delete
Post by: ThatDeafGuy on March 13, 2016, 04:18:35 PM
I have 4 fishing rods for sale:

Each will be 50 dollars, they are a little older but still work very well!

The 2 Fenwick rods were used for mooching, same with the Hardy. All 10 feet 6 inches.

I have one centerpin rod that has a sliding reel seat, it is called the Monarch. Couldn't find much info on this one but it is very good to use. 9 feet.

Fenwicks and the Hardy have a soft cloth case included. All have been used, but still in very good condition.

Located in Coquitlam.

You might be under valuing that Hardy cane rod ... what does the label say?

The sticker was peeled off, however, found this link that is exactly the same rod:http://www.usednanaimo.com/classified-ad/Hardy-10-ft-mooching--rod_26925387

it sold for 200 dollars.  Not sure how the sticker being peeled off would affect the value?

The link showed a glass Hardy rod; I was referring to the cane rod you pictured on CL.

The lack of a label on any Hardy rod will depreciate its value considerably.

It says:

The Monarch 9 feet, by left blank, of Galeon, Redditch, England.  Then further down 1269.

Does that glass hardy (the last picture) have a wt reading on it?

Looks like a hardy jet to me. If it's a 6wt I'll take it. Is it super noodly?

The glass hardy is a mooching rod, the words are on the top you can see "Mooching"

Can you post a few more pictures of this rod... label, handle. pieces placed alongside each other.  I know, a pain in the a$$ but could possibly make you more than $50.  I am especially interested.
Dan, that is a Hardy moocher, a rod I used back in the 70's for fishing the Vedder.  Loved it!
