This is one of a number of Brass Face Perfects that I am selling for an elderly Scottish collector. I has an unique line guide called
The Ring Up. It is in amazing shape for being 112 years of age. Check is strong. Only deficiency that is noticed is the one flange on the brass foot is slightly bent up, but it sits well on the reel seat. What is awesome with these reels is the World Famous Hardy sound when a fish rips off line from the reel...no other sound like it. Comes with Hardy Leather Reel Case from same era.
This reel would sit well on a 7 or 8 weight spey or 8 weight switch of 11 feet or longer. You are not just buying a Spey reel you are buying vintage history.
Pics are available by email: rodbitterman@gmail.com
Price is $2,400.00 US

WTF Rod. Post a damn picture once in while. Don't hide these gems or tease us with your posts. Even if we're not going to buy it nice to see a piece of angling history. Shite, this sounds like a piece of museum quality fishing history - please share and give our minds something. Please.

I'm glad he doesn't post pics or I'd be broke... Oh wait I am broke. Just glad that 2106lb is gone from my view.
Good luck with the sale Rod.
