Title: Winter Steelhead Stamp River - Great Conditions
Post by: Murphy Sportfishing on December 22, 2015, 10:47:51 AM
This Weeks Highlights
The river is now in great shape and trips are running in the Somass, Lower Stamp And Upper Stamp River.

Steelhead:
This week has been a good one with the first solid week of Winter Steelhead season officially under way.

The fish showed up right on time and as anticipated after all the high waters.

Been hooking four to six fish per morning, some days a few less and some days a few more, and the quality has been exceptional.

The weather is perfect and the freezing level is holding low so the river is not back to its normal levels. Look for it to continue to drop over the next week.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
