Hey guys,
I don't usually get out much this time of year to throw a line in the water
Any recommendations on techniques for trout fishing in cold lakes? From my limited experience it tends to be slow this time of year so I need all the help I can get.
I will mostly be using flies and spinners. Trout seem to like nymph patterns when the weather cools down. I would imagine fishing as deep as possible would be the best approach? Like I said though I'm pretty new to this...
Recommendations on locations would be helpful as well. Was thinking Harrison Mills or Squamish area lakes unless anyone knows of any gems that are more productive in the colder weather?
Thanks in advance!
