Took some time to write up a blog post to recap the summer of 2015. I originally had the fall and summer together in a single post, but it was fairly long. I figured I would split them up, so the Fall post will be up next Wednesday (hopefully, unless I'm out on a trip somewhere).

Very pic heavy!
Cheers!

Hilarious pic of the ring and the frog. I presume that was actually you before she kissed you!

Epic, as always. These shots always get me pumped to go explore.

Thanks again for sharing your wonderful fishing trips and pictures. Most of us probably can only dream to fish in locations you have been to. So your fishing recap and pictures enable us to live these fishing dreams vicariously. Thanks.

That was awesome. Great read!! Can't wait for the fall report. Love the island river trout section, gorgeous looking water and great cutty there.

The Fall portion of the blog is now available here:

Have you any idea how jealous you have made a bunch of people? ;)
Great stuff Dan! You're becoming a legend and I'm proud to say I knew you when ... ;D

Ha, I definitely wouldn't say a legend.
I just have a lot of time to explore (and the accessibility to lots of rivers to explore), I'm in shape enough to hike into stupid canyons most people wouldn't attempt, and there are so many non-pressured fish that it's easy most days. To top it off, I really enjoy taking pictures now (some days even more than the fishing itself), and I have always enjoyed writing - so blog posts are enjoyable to write in my down time.
In a way it's actually cool as well to have season recaps to look back on for myself. I do have journals, but I use those mostly for the ctrl+f feature that allows me to quickly look up what river I want to go to based on time of year, water heights, etc. I rarely look back on them for the memory aspect, like I would the blog posts which gives a quick full recap with my fav trips and pictures from the whole season.
Anyway, glad people are enjoying them... Might need to make a summer steelhead recap when I get some down time this week after the rivers all blow out with the rain we're forecast to get.

Holy moley! Talk about fish porn.... Did you get that Lake trout in a river too?

Yes, all of the lake char were caught in the lower portions of a large river.
