Title: Coho on the Harrison River
Post by: flyrod on October 26, 2015, 05:05:38 PM
Fished the upper Harrison on Friday chucking flies, Muddler and lime green bucktails size 10.  Hooked 9 coho and kept three hatchery ranging from 3-7 lbs. Lots of boats and guys fishing the bars with Spey rods hooking chum and springs. The rains this week will bring in fresh fish.  Netting was happening at the mouth of the Harrison.
100's of eagles on the flats.  Awesome sight.

Thanks for the report Rod. It sounds like place to be last weekend.

Of course it's the one weekend in over a month that I didn't have my boat out there. Sturgeon fishing the lower was good, so all was not lost.
