Hello everyone!
My name is John. I've been lurking the forums for about 2 years now but thought I would finally log in and start to post :)
I'm 33, born and raised in BC, I obsessivly took up flyfishing when I was 11 years old in 1993. By '95 I had my own custom built Sage 7'90 g3 RPL(still fished today) and custom made sea-tux neoprene waders from Michale and Young (lol). I grew up camping and fishing the Chehalis river. I very much consider the Chehalis my home waters.
The fishing habit stalled in my late teens and early 20's but picked up again in my late 20s and now is a full time hopeless addiction \. I am on the V/C system the most now-adays.
I am primarily a fly fisherman, but a couple of years ago I took up gear/float fishing for the first time which I find very enjoyable. I love steelheading. I try to get out at least once-twice a week. With gear I mostly fish blades and Jensen eggs/yarn with limited success. This will be my first year fishing with roe/roe sacks.
Greetings,
