Title: New jig plugged eyelet
Post by: mko72 on October 09, 2015, 07:35:25 AM
When you buy a mass produced jig from Crappy Tire and the eyelet is plugged from when it was dipped in paint (?) it's easy to unclog with another hook.  Then the finish gets knocked off pretty quickly.

I bought some more expensive jigs that are locally made and the finish appears to be so bullet proof that I can unclog that little eyelet.

What else can I use?

Example here at the link, top right corner.

Hmm shouldn't be a problem. Never had to use anything other then an old hook. Drill it out with a small bit.

Figured it out.  Used a lighter to heat up an old hook, like a hot knife through butter.  Problem solved.

Use an old hook to clean out the eyelet that works good and you probably have one with you all the time
