Where is the location
-
rod what your got for sale ? :))))
-
Not sure yet, there'll be a list, a long one.
-
I've heard that the location has changed for the tackle sale, the date remains the same. New location is the Air Cadets Drill Hall located at 45707 Princess Ave. in Chilliwack. Perhaps Rodney can confirm this.
-
That's correct. It should be finalized by mid next week once liability insurance is purchased.
-
The reason we had to move from Carman United Church Hall was because an important church function came up a few days ago. The new location will have way more room for sellers and buyers.
-
The used fishing tackle sale will now be held at the Royal Canadian Air Cadets Hall in Chilliwack (45707 Princess Avenue) from 7:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday November 14th. So far 11 tables have been booked. If you still would like to book a table to sell your items, please contact Landon at landongill1994@gmail.com

As in past sales there is always new, unused stuff as well, most times at rock bottom prices. Flyrod and I are sharing a table this year and between us we have some really high end gear, ie, Sage rods, new, never used Hardy reels, Spey rods, reels and lines, etc.
This sale is a must visit for those looking for quality tackle at bargain prices ;)
-
TTT - I expect to be there to help Flyrod again and have a few things of my own to sell.

Just spent three hours sorting out all the items I am bringing tomorrow.

X2 on that!!! Landon, are you listening ? ;)
-
Living in South Surrey , 7am makes for a really early start if you want to get there for the opening. I think a later start may increase the number of buyers.
-
We had 21 tables and by all acounts the sale went well with brisk sales reported. Nick even sold out!!
Thanks to all vendors and all that came to buy and support the sale.I am sure we will look at a little later start time for next year. The good part for the FVSS directors that work the sale the early time gives them more time to do things after the sale. (Like me, go for a nap before we watch the Leafs beat the Canucks.)
Some great fellowship today, always a good place to meet old friends and fellow anglers.
Thanks to FVSS Director Landon for chairing the sale and the directors who were able to help set up and take down.
Also to director George and wife Cathy for securing the venue for us which was an improvement from our previous place at the church, more room to move around etc..
Hope to see you all next year and always watch the FVSS FB page and Fishing with Rod for when the sale will be held in 2016. If you wish to view the sale I have put pictures up on the FVSS FB page. https://www.facebook.com/#!/Fraser-Valley-Salmon-Society-111769675563789/

Maybe, but I came from Langley at was there at 6:45am and there were already lots of people making their way in and congregating outside. Every year it starts slowing down around 11:30am and its its pretty much done by 12-12:15pm.
And I believe Don Campbell had all his reels sold before 8am :)
Maybe we should look into a sale in the Langley area to get some more interest from the people to the West.
-
Yeah but they'd still have to drive the hour east to test the new tackle ;D

So what is Don asking for his reels pricewise? And where will he likely be next time...I missed the sale thanks
-
He was asking $325 at the sale which is a steal for how nice they are. Said they go for more after.

I'm sure the 2 or 3 threads about his reels leading up to the sale helped with those quick sales ;D ;D
I still want one of his reels even though I got myself a 5" Kingfisher
