I am planning to put in a small zodiac with 8HP motor at Kilby. When I went there in the summer I headed up near the golf course and across them, trying to find cutthroat. Where are the spots from there for fly fishing for salmon. either from shore or the Boat? Werent any other fishermen when I was there before.

Pretty much go until you see signs of salmon. The entire river can be good during salmon season.
-
Just remember to try and stay off the flats From October to December, so as to not unduly disturb the eagles.
-
for salmon - just look for the other boats. The mouth, right across from Kilby (downstream of the log dump to the train bridge), the bars at cabin point and the mouth of the Chehalis are the well known spots.
For cutthroat - dream on.

Cutthroat anglers are more secretive about their favourite beaches than you can imagine. ;)

I spend my winters mostly fishing the Fraser for cutthroat and they are always on the move but there are some sweet spots. Put in your time and you will find some of your own, this is half the fun of finding them.

you bet. It's part of the code. Some of my best spots are about the size of a pool table and I don't appreciate company. Never ask where ask for how and maybe when other wise you'll be ignored.
