Title: what is open?
Post by: lapetitebuse on August 31, 2015, 07:30:02 PM
Hi,

I am a little confused with the recent closure throughout BC.
I understand that fishing for salmon is restricted to only a few system right now, most everything is closed to protect sockeye.

But does that mean that fishing is closed altogether or only fishing for salmon?
More particularly, are the Skagit river, Pitt river and Thompson river open for trout fishing?

I am planning a fishing trip mid september and was hoping to hit these rivers to target trout only.

Thanks for the clarification.
