For those that prayed for rain. Good for the fish and the forest which is most important.

It's just nice to see some water in there. Oh well it's just the beginning of the fall salmon season, plenty of more fishing days to come . Doesn't mean there isn't people still trying today.

Certainly good news for the fish. As far as fishing is concerned, river will probably be relatively unfishable till late next week because the reports are predicting the heaviest downpours to occur tonight into tomorrow with showers much of next week. Should push in lots of fresh fish though. As farky mentioned, just the beginning of the season. There will indeed be plenty more fishing days to come.

It's pretty rough fishing on the Vedder but if you head down to Sumas River it's just as muddy but the current slows down enough that you can work a spoon or spinner and draw them in.

Toss some big spinners right near the bank with these conditions. Managed to hook a few cohos doing this when the ved turns to choco drink.

There was 4' of visibility this morning close to the Sumas confluence. One pink Hooked on a fly. 1.5 hours fishing.
