Title: Does anyone know what's going on at the Seymour?
Post by: Novabonker on August 20, 2015, 07:35:01 AM
I had a short break between jobs so I stopped by the Seymour to check out the conditions. I saw a couple of BCIT vehicles and as I got a little further downstream, there was some folks in the river working what looked like a big seine. Are they trucking fish up past the slide?

The fish move has not happened yet. If you are seeing this in the estuary, those are BCIT projects funded by HCTF. I can't remember the specifics of the project.

It was at the milk run, behind Maplewood farm that they're working. The water flow seemed pretty good for the drought conditions.
