Title: Non-tidal Fraser River, August 13th 2015
Post by: Rodney on August 14, 2015, 10:50:49 PM
I guess now that it closes tomorrow, I'll post up the report and video now. ;D Yesterday evening we (four families, all members of the Fraser Valley Salmon Society) bar fished in Chilliwack. Lots of fun, lots of running around with six kids to look after. In the end the bell rang twice. Here is a short video of one of the fish. Both fish were lost. :(

Usually when I take kids out fishing like that I set up a small spinning outfit with a worm on the bottom as well and catch small fish with them until they get bored. It's usually non stop action and helps them begin to love fishing. Love the setup though, looks like a lot of fun.

Nice!  If I had a boat I would be out doing that a lot.
