Headed out to the Fraser today to practice my denistry skills for a while, and was rewarded after 2.5 hours. Over that time period I witnessed 8 sockeye hooked and a couple brought in and released. Only saw one other spring caught besides the one I got. Was going to do only 1 or 2 more casts when she grabbed the line and headed for the ocean. Thinking at first it was a sockeye but it's gentle pulling I didn't tell anyone I had it on until it started to rip the line down river and after a 26 minute battle (no joke) for a 26 LB Spring she was brought into shore. Overall pretty slow day for springs but the Sockeye are sure coming in.
