Has anyone ventured to it yet, with the lack of rain, warm weather and slow snow pack I wonder if its fishable yet?
-
Yep - I fished for a couple of hours on Monday evening on the Lower river. Conditions are low and clear (like September), and in good shape. Suprisingly I didnt catch anything, fishing mainly dries and nymphs, but saw a massive splash about 10 feet in front of me, that must have been a huge Bull Trout attacking something!
Didnt see a hatch, and also didnt see any other people.

fished it today, like said before, water level is low, and crystal clear, fish are very spooky right now, got one to hand nymphing and lost 3 more on the dry, but pretty slow for 5 hours on the water.

How were the mozzies?
-
Camped up at Silvertip last weekend. Surprising not many mosquitoes given the lack at rain, flies were out in forces though. We did well on nymphs, one on the dry and several on zonkers. Water is low and noticed above average number of people out (as we expected on opening weekend).
