Title: Squamish system
Post by: c-pin on July 04, 2015, 11:28:42 AM
We went camping last week (Jun 28 - Jul 1) in Squamish. This is more a report on river levels / visibility .

Squamish - High. Less than 6" visibility. Greenish glacial silt colour.

Mamquam - Low. Less than 6" visibility. Greenish glacial silt colour.

Cheakamus - Low. Less than 6" visibility. Greenish glacial silt colour.

Cheekeye - Trickle. Dirty brown colour.

I didn't fish. I didn't see any fish.

On the way up there and back I didn't stop at Furry Creek to check it out either. Although there were cars parked there, I don't know if it was anglers or beach goers.

Was up there yesterday. Conditions are like late August except water levels are extremely low,  silty and no fish.
