Well...spent the last four days fishing hard off of a beautiful 20 foot Bayliner Trophy. We were using live herring, and switching between motching and trolling. In the end the count for me was:
over 20 dogfish (2 or which came home for a nice cod and chips supper)
2 ling cod - one was close to 15 lbs...a nice big fish....all released as per regs
1 bullet of a wild coho caught on the surface with a zinger (about 6 lbs)
and 2 chinookies....nice...12 and 19 lbs. They tasted good
great weekend..great weather..great tan
will try to get some pics up

Good report. Where did you fish? Did you try Pirates Rock?

Epsom Point is the location we started in...then we moved over to Welcome Bay...I think that was the name. It was hard fishing....they weren't being easy...we were a bit early. For anyone fishing the area...the evening period was excellent. Thats when we did all our salmon catching....just looking for a bait ball, and then the spikes on teh fish finder that suggest something is whipping in and out...that is where we made the hits.

Id love to see somepics as well! Did you get the salmon mooching or trolling?

I believe we were trolling when we actually got the springs...it took a long time to find them!
