You will be hard pressed to find this reel around here in this condition, with the exception of one small bruise on a rim of a side plate there is no damage, not even a scratch on this reel. Even the worm gear looks new and unfished. Highly collectable in this condition and sought after by local salmon/steelhead fishers and in the Japanese market. Bulletproof (high quality parts) reel made in the hay day of Abu. Serial number indicates it was produced in 77.

Sure beautiful Vintage Classic ABU Garcia 6500C reel. ;) I have the smaller version Abu High speed 5500C. Does it come with the leather case?
