Look for a decent setup ( pretty much a spare for guests/maybe a little beefier than my 8to17# convergence for when the hogs are in) that can handle chum/Chinook but not a complete meat stick as it will also see some pink action as well. Don't want cheap crap but dont want any sages either...lol some ting like a Shimano convergence grade. Longer the better ( 9'6 bare min) but hope for 10'6 area. May also be looking for a reel as well And it doesn't have to be a combo deal. Just needs to hold 45# braid and drag strong enough for chinookies. wondering what people have kicking around for a fair price.
