Title: Chilliwack River, February 3rd 2015
Post by: nevertoolate on February 04, 2015, 09:55:56 AM
I was out yesterday fishing from first to last light.  Covered four sites on the upper river and 2 lower.  Saw one fish caught near me in the spot I was headed for but didnt make it in time.  A beauty being weighed in at Fred's.
This is my first year.     Been out there about 8 times since early December.  Nothing at all yet.

But had  a great  day and I am not about to give up yet.

Your time will come.  Keep putting time in and learning and you will eventually get one.  Good on you for still enjoying your day at the end of it.  That's what its about.

A whole day fishing??? Ahh the memories... youth is unfortunately wasted on the young. Agree in that amount of time you could of fished from crossing to canal and all the good spots up river. Steelhead with the thought process that if fish were there they would have bitten. Keep moving

I only saw 1 hatch landed all weekend in the upper. Also noticed a lot more beginners and less experienced anglers out this weekend.
