After half a dozen afternoon outings and one fish lost during the second outing of the season, I was reminded today what a steelhead looks like, by Brian Fisherman. Nice fish! :)

Still waiting for my float to go down again.

She's a Beauty.
A dozen outings for me. On the tenth outing, one popped the hook after hitting the fast water and jumping. 8 more outtings to go..

Very good looking fish, congrats. I am envious.
Sounds like my season. First two outings last week and lost both. One at my feet and it was a hatchery..would've been first one on a centerpin. Only chances I got. The last three days this week, no love despite great conditions, except a take down I'm 80% sure was a steelhead.
It was warm though.
