So do these fit more like a size 10 or did you just buy boots too small for yourself?
-
No they are true to size. I just need a larger boot.
-
Did you think they were like Skates? A little larger than their advertised size?
-
No Flytech, I have had many Simms boots as I typically go through 2 pairs a year. Depending on the model of boot, size 11 or 12 best fit me and in this particular boot I would prefer in 12.
-
Kinda off topic but what do you think of these new vapor boots? I was looking for something a little lighter but don't really want to compromise too much ankle support and whatnot on long walks....
-
I do prefer a lighter boot in general also, the Vapor certainly isn't the lightest boot on the market however it is a more durable option than many. I've used many cheaper model boots with good success however, I have realistic expectations on how long they will last with the amount I wear them. There are also other boots that will provide far more ankle support, sounds like a good compromise would be the Simms Freestone for you.

Are they felt or vibram soles?

They are felt soles.
