Title: Deer Lake Dock Submerged
Post by: KarateKick on November 14, 2014, 09:42:17 PM
I like fishing on the large dock in the boat rental area at Deer Lake, but the last time I went the dock was submerged.  Does any of you know why?  Is the water level a lot higher than usual?

Probably due to high water level after all the rain we've had the past 4 weeks. this will happen to anchored docks and even boats if the anchor lines aren't set to allow for a rise and drop.

Thank you Ralph.  Do you think any fish in the lake may still be biting?

Bass are probably going crazy eating the salmon eggs where the creek comes in.

See folks fish there all the time but never see anyone catching anything.

With all the rain, the dock always gets submerged during this time of year.
