Title: Balsa wood for floats

Anyone have any balsa wood they would be willing to part with.

Windsor Plywood should have it, if not basswood can be used as an alternative, it is just slightly heavier.

OPUS Art Supply also carries it, but do call in advance.

Thanks I already checked Windsor they don't carry it any more but I will check opus

Have you tried LEE VALLEY?

They have a location in Coquitlam down by United BLVD...they have exotic woods.....

Check out a few hobby stores, I bought balsa at one in Chilliwack for making floats

Micheals craft stores have lots of balsa in different sizes.
