Managed to get out in the boat today. Water is really high and vis about 12 to 18 inches. Was able to bring one Coho to the boat only to see an intact adipose fin. A nice hen was sent gently on her way to produce more little Cohos. Only saw 2 other Coho caught between 401 bridge and the Fraser.
Always wanting to educate rather than confront, I pointed out to another boater from Washington anchored with his dog that you can only have one rod fishing while fishing alone. He stated that "the other rod was his dog's and he doubted anyone would care or check him".

This reminds me of a guy fishing with 3 rods at a local lake. He had his son with him so that accounts for 2 rods. The son had his puppy with him so I guess the 3rd rod belongs to the dog.

Lakes, yes.
Rivers, not sure.

River had 7 feet of water where two weeks ago it was 2 feet deep, doubt it qualifies as a lake.

From page 9 of the Freshwater Synopis. "It is unlawful to use more than one fishing line, EXCEPT a person who is alone in a boat on a lake may angle with two lines"
