Probably should have brought a spare float this morning…. ::) Started at first light hoping to find some biting coho and was not too disappointed when the float started going under after a few drifts. After a couple of misses, I hooked a very fresh fish on a quick take. It gave a lively fight until the hook popped out when it was about to be beached. Ten minutes later the float was gone again and it flew up as I set the hook and cracked on the rocks. I dug into my pocket and realized that I had pretty much left everything in the back pack at home as I was using that last night. Can't complain, an hour of fishing in the morning before work is always a good start. ;D

Should called Chris. He has all sorts of Maple Leaf floats.

Those are no good, they never go down on the Vedder as proven throughout this season… ;D

You work ?
:)

Did you see any enforcement going on Rod? I was there yesterday, fishing up top. I saw anything from someone taking a large Dolly, multiple springs, wild coho, fishing with no float ;), etc. that I was so disgusted I drove to get cell service and report it. Something really needs to be done but the indifference I got on the phone was tough to take.

I rarely fish the busy areas, usually head to the opposite end where no one is fishing, so no I haven't seen any violations or enforcement...
Nina's evening catch balanced out this morning's pathetic performance.
