Title: Chilliwack River, October 16th 2014
Post by: ali2pali on October 17, 2014, 11:17:07 AM
Fished yesterday a.m. in the lower river. Clarity was around 3 ft, with browninsh colored water. Basically no one catching, but I managed a few fish in the first few hrs on the river. Had 3 wild and 1 hatch doe to hand in about 3.5 hrs total.

Same deal where I was fishing mid-lower river.  Nice water conditions, just a few fish splashing, none being caught.  Mostly fished flies, also roe and blades.  Hopefully they are going to show up in good numbers now.

Upper was packed.. With people. Some people found the holes and limited out .most people did not. Was a nice day thought and I saw a chubby bear cub.

Yes we saw the bear but bigger than a cub. We hooked a number of coho only one landed. River looks good.
