My brother is going to Gray Creek on the east side of Kootenay lake for a few days and asked me to look into shore fishing locations and tackle for the lake. I searched the forum and Google for an hour but found nothing regarding shore fishing, everything was oriented towards fishing from a boat. He is a novice angler with a six foot spinning rod that would be stoked to catch a pan fish, so any spot where he stands a chance would be great.
