Went out this morning 8-10 am on the lower section, water looks great, but did not see or hear of any caught and only saw one fish surface. May be better looking for those first run fish further up.

I fished the lower in the morning as well. I didn't hook anything but one guy to my left hooked and lost an adult fish. A different guy later landed a jack spring which he released. Water level is pretty high in the upper canyon. I had to wade out to my waist. One guy without waders try to cast from a under a tree since the whole place was flooded.
Later I checked out the Stave River to see if there's any action. There were no fish rolling and nobody hooked anything. The only fish I saw was a dead chum doe that had its roe taken away.
