Fished elsewhere during the sockeye opening and had a lot of the rivers to myself! No complaints here.

Or, you know, the option to simply not respond to a thread about catching sockeye?

Instead of trying to play the holier than though role on the internet.

OK - which of you guys whacked 41+ sockeye???  That's 20+ days out on the non-tidal portion of the Fraser in a month.   :o

I've only kept 14 fish, more then enough work for me smoking and canning them for the winter.   Although the amount I've caught / landed for other people around me is well into the 100's

Was down the first two weeks it opened.Ferried home some fish(including a large spring).Camped with some great families.Had a lot of fun although fishing was slow early on.Fish were mint when they came.No regrets as am having 30 plus trout days here at Adams on the fly.All catch and release though. Was pleased to be granted the option to feed my family by some politico(sarc)
