Title: Fraser River Cleanup, September 27

A chance to give back a little.

The Fraser Valley Salmon Society will be celebrating BC Rivers Day on Saturday September 27 with a cleanup of Fraser River bars in the Chilliwack area.

The will meet at West End Auto Body from 8 AM to 9 AM and will be assigned an area to head too. People that could bring boats to get to some of the bars will be helpful too.
Donuts and refreshments will be provided and garbage bags and pickup sticks as well. The garbage will be brought back to West End where a dumpster will be provide and taken to the landfill at the end of the cleanup. Thanks to Jeff, Darlene and Harry at Westend for providing their facility like they did 4 years ago when we did a similar cleanup.Also to the City of Chilliwack for their support and the FVSS executive for continuing their work for recreational fishers and the environment

Anyone that can give a report of what bars need attention will be helpfull too. More info on the FVSS FB page

A quick google but to get it from the horse's mouth, what's west end auto body's address?

was at scale today and it was quite clean, car park was bad.
