Title: Fraser River Mouth, August 20th 2014
Post by: Toprod on August 20, 2014, 07:09:49 PM
We limited out 11 sox and a bonus 19 lb white spring off sandheads this am.it was choppy.

All on the standard sockeye hoochies and flashers. Used no dummy flashers. 70-90 feet on the downriggers.

Way to go Toprod!! I have been watching the weather and figured it would be choppy out there yesterday. I am curious why you weren't using dummy flashers.

Thanks jimstone; I've been anticipating the orca pods coming in and hoping they would hold off at least until after the weekend. My old buddy and I will be out there tommorrow morning again hoping to get a few of the big late runs sox. Good luck to all the boats that will no doubt be out there!
