Title: Johnstone Strait, August 20th 2014
Post by: islanddude on August 20, 2014, 09:21:50 PM
Returned to Johnstone Strait today.
Launched boat at 6am.  Ebb tide running strong. Saw a few jumpers but no action. Tide started to slow down around 8:30am. Found some fish hold up in a bay.  They were hugging the bottom around 90ft. They readly took  our buzz bombs.
Tide turned to flood soon after and the sockeye came jumping and sliding on past us.  The wind started to pickup and by 10:30am we were blown off the water. We managed to land 7 nice soxs.
Be on the water again tomorrow. Lots comming your way and big ones.
