Title: Convert Trailer Tongue - DIY?
Post by: RainbowMan on July 21, 2014, 11:18:23 AM
I have a regular EZ Loader 16' trailer with a regular tongue and I need to convert it to a swing tongue to save some garage space. Any idea if this could be done as a DIY project? If not, who can do it for me and how much is it going to cost me? Should I also inform ICBC when I do this liek what you have to do when you customize parts of your car??

Mine was already installed when I bought my boat/trailer but it should be a pretty easy install if you are properly equipped. If not I doubt it would be very much shop time. Love being able to fold the tongue in to gain some extra space.

The fulton is the way to go pretty easy install, you need 1/2 drill some zip cuts for a 4.1/2 angle grinder just take your time works like a charm

Thanks, guys. I'll order online. Sounds like a weekend project to install.

You can also try Sealand RV Service and Product in Richmond, have heard good things about them.
