Title: Ambleside, July 13th 2014
Post by: Brothersage on July 14, 2014, 11:46:26 AM: Tried trolling in front of ambleside yesterday morning with no takers. Moved over in front of fisheries at the tide change and picked up a nice 25lbs spring trolling a hearing. Had another hit but it let go before I could set the hook. Probably a coho.

I was shore fishing again this Sunday out there. Again - nothing (except for about a dozen other people fishing) from shore but did see a few boat hookups. Would have been an awesome day on the kayak as it was pretty tame water most of the day.

Post by: Toprod on July 16, 2014, 06:49:31 AM: Thanks for the report! We got two hatchery coho at first light in front of the pink apartment. Anchoives on a 5 foot leader behind flashers at 15 feet is what we were using.
