Title: Crappie
Post by: tumbleweed on April 06, 2014, 12:29:48 PM
Hi,
My two boys(8 and 10) want to try and catch some crappie. Is it still to early, does it need to warm up a bit? What would they use for bait? I have never targeted them. I am trying to encourage as much outdoor activity as I can away from the video games.
Thanks ;)

Try sturgeon slough in Pitt Meadows there are alot of little crappies that are easy to catch try a small jig in green with a float and you will catch em like crazy. It is too early but there is the odd fish here and then mixed with bass and sunfish.Try in august when its warmer.
